"Chekhov One-Acts: The Boar: A Joke in One Act & The Marriage Proposal"

In The Boar, the young widow, Elena, in mourning for a year, declares herself effectively dead, only to be stirred back into life by the blustering, salty-tongued Gregory, who she cannot resist despite her best efforts.

In, The Marriage Proposal, A young man - Lomov - comes to propose to his neighbour - Natalya - but they can't agree on anything. 


Both shows will be performed by the same cast!

"Oedipus Rex: Private Eye"

He’s the world’s second greatest detective, but there’s one mother of a case he’s never been able to crack. Local theatre artist Ian Baird presents Ancient Greek drama meets Pink Panther style humor in this hilarious adaptation of Sophocles classic Greek tragedy, "Oedipus Rex".
